Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share a simple, low-budget case study on how I made $520 in net profit in 5 days using push notification ads and a Nutra sweepstakes offer. This one’s perfect for beginners or those testing Tier 3 traffic sources without huge risk.

The Strategy

Instead of jumping straight into big-budget campaigns, I focused on fast testing with:

  • A proven vertical: Nutra/sweepstakes
  • A Tier 3 GEO with affordable traffic
  • A clean single-opt-in flow
  • Direct linking (no landing page for this round)

This was all about validating the offer with small spend, analyzing click data, and scaling only what worked.

The Offer

  • Vertical: Sweepstakes / Nutra
  • Type: SOI (Single Opt-In)
  • Action Required: User submits email or phone number
  • Payout: $1.80 per conversion
  • Source: Partner network (any decent CPA network will have similar)

Campaign Setup

  • Traffic Source: Push Ads
  • GEO: Tier 3 (exact country not specified due to confidentiality, but similar results can be expected in countries like ID, IN, PK, NG, BD, etc.)
  • Targeting:
    • Device: Android
    • OS: 8+
    • Browser: Chrome only
    • Frequency cap: 1 impression per 24 hours per user
  • Budget:
    • Daily spend: $30 max
    • Total test: $150

Optimization Approach

This is where the magic happened.

🔹 Step 1: Broad Test

  • I ran the offer broadly across multiple placements and monitored EPCs (Earnings Per Click).
  • Within 24–48 hours, I saw consistent clicks but inconsistent conversions.

🔹 Step 2: Placement Filtering

  • Using tracker data (RedTrack in this case), I created a blacklist of underperforming placements after they spent $3–$4 with no conversions.
  • This removed about 40% of the traffic.

🔹 Step 3: Device Focus

  • I noticed that Android 10+ users on Chrome had the highest CTR and CVR.
  • Disabled older OS versions and Safari traffic completely.

🔹 Step 4: Time & Day Optimization

  • Mornings (6 AM – 10 AM local time) performed best. Adjusted dayparting accordingly.

The Results (5-Day Snapshot)

MetricValue
Spend$148
Revenue$668
Net Profit$520
ROI351.35%
Conversions371
EPC$0.16
CTR1.21%
Conversion Rate19.7% (click → lead)

Key Takeaways

Push ads still work — especially in Tier 3 countries where traffic is cheap and offers are simple.

Don’t overcomplicate — no prelander, no email sequence, just direct linking to a proven SOI sweep worked perfectly.

Track aggressively — placements and devices make or break a campaign. Turn off the waste early.

Dayparting matters — users in some GEOs are more responsive in specific windows. Monitor the time-of-day stats closely.

Scaling tip: Once it worked, I duplicated the campaign into a second Tier 3 GEO, and profits continued at the same pace.

🚀 Final Thoughts

This wasn’t a massive campaign — but that’s the point.

With just $30/day, I validated the offer, optimized traffic, and walked away with $500+ profit in under a week. For beginners or budget-conscious affiliates, this is a simple blueprint you can replicate across different GEOs and networks.

Let me know if you'd like a follow-up on how I scaled this to $1k+/week or if you want to see how I added a pre-lander for better quality leads later on.
