Hey everyone,
It’s been a while since I started a new journey here, and this time I’m stepping into something fresh – running my very first PPC campaign. I’ve been reading, planning, and watching others share their journeys for a while, but now it’s time to put theory into practice. My goal is simple: learn, test, and hopefully make a profit along the way.
Since this is my first attempt at PPC, I’m keeping things straightforward and not overcomplicating it. Still, I know there’s a lot I don’t know yet, so if you notice any way I can improve, I’m open to all suggestions. Every bit of advice counts.
Here’s where I’m at right now:
My current focus is to learn as much as possible about optimization – things like refining keywords, improving CTR, and keeping CPC under control. I’m aware that with PPC, small tweaks can make a big difference in the ROI.
I’ll be testing different ad copies and maybe a couple of landing pages if the initial results show promise. I also want to track which keywords bring in the highest quality leads, as this will guide my bid adjustments.
I know I might make mistakes along the way, but that’s part of the process. The important thing is to gather data and improve with every step. If I can turn this campaign profitable, it will give me the confidence to try other niches and traffic strategies.
Goals for the next few days:
I’ll be updating this thread daily with progress reports – whether it’s wins, losses, or lessons learned. Hopefully, over time, this will be a solid learning experience not only for me but also for others thinking of getting into PPC.
Let’s see where this journey takes me!

Here’s where I’m at right now:
- Offer Selection: I decided to go with a health insurance offer. From my research, it has a decent payout and is in a niche that has consistent demand.
- Network: The offer is from MarketCall, and I reached out to my affiliate manager for guidance before starting. Unfortunately, they weren’t online at the time, so I decided to just dive in and get the ball rolling.
- Campaign Creation: I set up my campaign on Google Ads (AdWords). Since this is my first time, I kept the structure clean and organized so it’s easier to analyze performance later.
- Approval Process: I submitted my campaign details and even shared screenshots for the offer approval. I want to ensure everything’s compliant before pushing traffic.
- Budgeting: I’m starting with a $30 daily budget. My plan is to collect enough data first before making any big changes or scaling.

Goals for the next few days:
- Monitor CTR and see which ads get the most engagement.
- Track conversion rate once traffic starts coming in.
- Identify underperforming keywords and either pause or adjust them.
- Consider split-testing different ad headlines and descriptions.
