Hey everyone,
This is the start of my official Follow Along, and I’m excited to document everything here — wins, losses, and all the messy in-between moments.
About Me
I’m 21 years old and have been exploring online marketing for about two years now. My first serious project was in the fitness niche, where I built my own online product. The result? A spectacular failure — but it came with valuable lessons in traffic generation, product positioning, and conversion funnels.
After that experience, I joined a media group. What started as a 20-hour-per-week gig quickly turned into 40+ hours as I earned promotions and took on more responsibility. Over the last year, I’ve learned the ins and outs of media buying, audience research, and campaign scaling — skills that I now want to fully apply to affiliate marketing.
Why Affiliate Marketing?
I’ve heard the “Affiliate marketing is dead” argument more times than I can count. I’m choosing to ignore it. There’s still plenty of opportunity for those willing to test, adapt, and innovate. My mindset: Fail → Learn → Adjust → Succeed.
Current Setup
Why RevContent?
I’ve been following a few journeys here but noticed there’s not much newbie-friendly content on the platform. That’s part of the appeal — I want to explore it, test my own strategies, and share detailed findings that others can benefit from.
Current Status
I’ve set up my first RevContent campaign, but I’m stuck in the approval stage. They haven’t processed my credit card or boosted the campaign yet — probably due to the Easter holiday slowdown. While I’m waiting, I’m:
Mindset & Expectations
I’m not expecting smooth sailing from day one. I expect to burn some budget on tests before seeing traction. The goal is to keep learning from every click, impression, and conversion.
What’s Next
As soon as RevContent approves my campaign, I’ll launch with my prepared creatives and landing pages. I’ll post updates here on performance metrics, optimization steps, and lessons learned — the good, the bad, and the ugly.
If anyone here has RevContent experience, I’d be more than happy to exchange ideas and tips.
Let’s see how far this journey can go.
