Hey everyone!
You may have seen me around the forum chiming in on CPA offers, gaming, and affiliate strategy, but today I’m stepping into a new space—something I’ve wanted to try for a long time.
I’ve officially launched a YouTube channel focused on relaxation through gaming. This isn’t just about hitting “record and upload.” It’s a mix of passion, creativity, and business strategy. I’m documenting every part of the journey here, not just to keep myself accountable, but also to hopefully inspire anyone who's been sitting on the idea of starting a content-driven channel.
Let’s break it down:
The ultimate target is to meet YouTube’s monetization threshold within 12 months:
But more than the numbers, I want to build a sustainable, calming space that people come back to. This niche has been growing rapidly with the popularity of ASMR and ambient content combined with slow-paced games.
The channel is all about slow, atmospheric gaming paired with calming commentary and soundscapes. Think cozy strategy games, meditative building sims, and creative gameplay with light voiceover in both Hungarian and English.
Here’s what I’m producing:
I’m handling all branding in-house:
This gives me full creative control and keeps things authentic. I’m not aiming for flashy; I want “cozy, real, and intentional.”
Here’s the roadmap for the next 4–6 weeks:
Also, I’m budgeting for some early investment in games and maybe a better mic—but all within reason. This isn’t just a passion project—it’s a calculated business build.
If you’ve ever grown a YouTube channel, experimented with ASMR/gaming content, or you simply have ideas on community-building strategies—drop your thoughts below! Any feedback, ideas, or experience is hugely appreciated.
Let’s see where this journey leads. I’ll post updates regularly as milestones come in or when I hit major hurdles (which I fully expect).
Thanks for following along, and best of luck to anyone else launching their own creative ventures!

I’m documenting every part of the journey here, not just to keep myself accountable, but also to hopefully inspire anyone who's been sitting on the idea of starting a content-driven channel.
Let’s break it down:
Channel Goal: Monetization and Beyond
The ultimate target is to meet YouTube’s monetization threshold within 12 months:
- 1,000 Subscribers
- 4,000 Watch Hours
- Content that stays within YouTube’s guidelines (we’re playing the long game—no shortcuts or rule-bending)
But more than the numbers, I want to build a sustainable, calming space that people come back to. This niche has been growing rapidly with the popularity of ASMR and ambient content combined with slow-paced games.
What Kind of Content?
The channel is all about slow, atmospheric gaming paired with calming commentary and soundscapes. Think cozy strategy games, meditative building sims, and creative gameplay with light voiceover in both Hungarian and English.
Here’s what I’m producing:
- Long-form videos that run 30–90 minutes
- Soft voiceovers in two languages, depending on the video
- Custom sound design from royalty-free libraries
- Subtle ASMR elements (mouse clicks, ambient sounds, background music)
- All content is self-recorded and edited manually—no auto-generated fluff
Branding and Assets
I’m handling all branding in-house:
- Intro/outro sequences
- Custom thumbnails and banners
- Hand-drawn or minimally AI-enhanced visuals
- Social media graphics to build presence outside of YouTube
This gives me full creative control and keeps things authentic. I’m not aiming for flashy; I want “cozy, real, and intentional.”
Current Status (Week 1)
- Channel launched and active
- 7 videos published
- 26 subscribers so far
- One video has already crossed 200 organic views, which is a great early sign!
- Engagement is minimal but real: a few likes, some watch time growth, and organic impressions. Nothing crazy—but promising nonetheless.
Next Steps
Here’s the roadmap for the next 4–6 weeks:
- Stick to a consistent posting schedule of 2–4 videos weekly, alternating between English and Hungarian.
- Begin experimenting with community posts and short-form content to boost visibility.
- Research and test underrated games in the genre that have an active search base but lower content saturation.
- Watch analytics like a hawk—especially retention rate, traffic sources, and CTR on thumbnails.
Also, I’m budgeting for some early investment in games and maybe a better mic—but all within reason. This isn’t just a passion project—it’s a calculated business build.
