Hey everyone,
I’ve decided to finally kick off my affiliate marketing journey and document it here. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, and I think sharing it will keep me accountable while also giving me a chance to learn from the community’s feedback.
Before anything else — I’m going to be 100% honest: I’m a complete beginner in this game. I’ve never used a tracker, never launched push ads, and have zero experience with paid traffic. You could say I’m starting from scratch. But that’s exactly why I’m excited — there’s nowhere to go but up.
Stick with affiliate marketing until I hit positive ROI. No quick exits, no excuses.
From my research, I’m going to start with Sweeps offers and run them on push ads via Zeropark. This seems like a beginner-friendly combo with decent potential for learning and testing without blowing the budget too fast.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
Over the next few days, I’ll be setting up my tracking fully and launching my first set of campaigns. My main focus will be testing creatives and landing page variations to find a winning combo. The aim is to start small, analyze the data, and scale up once I find something profitable.
This is all new territory for me, so I’m expecting a mix of mistakes and small wins — but that’s part of the process. I’m committed to pushing through the learning curve and making this work.
Stay tuned for updates on spend, conversions, and optimizations as I go.

The Goal
Stick with affiliate marketing until I hit positive ROI. No quick exits, no excuses.
Budget & Timeline
- Budget: $1,000
- Start Date: June 20, 2019
- Review Date: July 10, 2019
The Plan
From my research, I’m going to start with Sweeps offers and run them on push ads via Zeropark. This seems like a beginner-friendly combo with decent potential for learning and testing without blowing the budget too fast.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
- Signed up with Zeropark.
- Signed up with Bemob (my tracking tool).
- Selected a sweeps offer to promote.
- Purchased a domain.
- Installed SSL on the domain.
- Spied on ads using Push Adplexity for creative ideas.
- Prepared at least 5 ad creatives to start testing.
- Planned an alternate landing page (not on WordPress).
Still in Progress
- Setting up postback tracking in Bemob.
- Testing and refining my landing pages.
Questions I’m Exploring
- Is there a way to create a questionnaire-style survey on WordPress without needing advanced HTML skills? I’m considering using PureLander, but I’d like to hear if anyone has experience with it.
- Any step-by-step tutorials for setting up Bemob efficiently?
- Is using a sub-domain as a tracking domain a good practice?
- Should my landing pages be on the main domain or a sub-domain?
Next Steps
Over the next few days, I’ll be setting up my tracking fully and launching my first set of campaigns. My main focus will be testing creatives and landing page variations to find a winning combo. The aim is to start small, analyze the data, and scale up once I find something profitable.
