Educational content often works better because it gives people something useful even before they decide to buy anything. When someone learns how to solve a problem, save time, or get better results from a tutorial or guide, they’re more likely to trust the person who gave them that help. That’s when they’re more open to clicking affiliate links. On the other hand, promotional content usually focuses on getting quick clicks or sales without much explanation. That can still work sometimes, but many people ignore it if they don’t see a clear benefit. Mixing both can also be smart. For example, you can teach something helpful and then mention a product that fits into that solution. That way, it doesn’t feel forced. Sharing knowledge builds trust and keeps people coming back for more. Have you noticed if people respond more to helpful posts or direct product promotions?
