What’s the difference between affiliate marketing and just selling products on my own website?

The main difference is ownership and control. When doing affiliate marketing, you promote other people’s products and get a commission for each sale. You don’t have to deal with shipping, customer service, or product creation. You simply help drive traffic and get paid if someone buys. But if you sell your own products, everything is in your hands. You control the pricing, packaging, and customer support, but you also carry the cost and risks. Affiliate marketing is often easier to start because you don’t need to create anything. Selling your own products can lead to higher profit per sale, but it usually takes more time and money to set it up. Which one sounds more practical to you?
