Can continuous writing give you more traffic even without SEM?

Many have argued that users with more contents especially those with SEO-friendly, may not need to engage in SEM. How true can be this be? Truth be told, writing continuously can truly help the websites to get ranked on SERPs and be noticeable. But is this enough to get the traffic converted?

When it comes to conversion, then SEM cannot be overruled. Traffic without conversion is as good as nothing. And the only thing that can generate more conversion will be SEM.
