Can you help me in redirecting root domain from Squarespace owned domain?

The redirect for www.ow2trivia.com is working perfectly—it takes me to the correct Squarespace site. However, when I try to access just the root domain (ow2trivia.com, without the "www"), it sends me to the default Squarespace "under construction" page. I set everything up fairly recently (about two hours ago), so I'm wondering if this could still be a DNS propagation issue. That said, I've also read that I might need to use domain forwarding for the root domain, rather than just relying on a custom DNS record. That part is still unclear to me. Also, I'm not entirely sure if this is the best place to ask—should I be posting this here, or in a different section? Domains can be very confusing.
