Hey Fix Fam,
I’ve decided to take my first step into the world of 7Search PPC. This is my first time running a campaign here, and I wanted to share the entire process with you all – wins, losses, lessons, and everything in between.
I don’t have a big budget to play with right now, so I started small. My initial deposit is just $25. I know that’s not much for testing paid traffic, but I’d rather start lean, figure out what works, and scale from there rather than burning through a big budget with no strategy.
For this first attempt, I’m running an offer from Neverblue. It’s a cloud backup offer that pays about $6 per lead and converts when a user completes a registration on the advertiser’s site. I decided to start direct linking to the offer – no landing page for now – just to keep it simple for the test phase.
I chose 10 keywords relevant to the niche and set my max bid at $0.15.
Day 1 Results (12/10/13):
Interestingly, Neverblue reported 8 clicks while 7Search only recorded 6. From what I understand, this could be due to repeated clicks from the same user or filtering of non-valid clicks by 7Search.
At this stage, I’m not running any tracking setup. That’s a gap I want to close quickly, so I’m planning to grab a domain, set up hosting, and run Prosper202 to better understand what’s working and what’s not.
Community Feedback So Far:
A few experienced members have already advised me to stop relying solely on direct linking and instead build a landing page or squeeze page to pre-sell the offer. The idea is that even if the offer requires registration on the advertiser’s site, a well-crafted landing page can warm up visitors, increase conversions, and help with tracking.
Others have mentioned that 7Search can be hit or miss – some report fraud clicks, while others have made it work with the right setup and targeting.
My Thoughts:
I’ve always worked with WordPress in the past, mainly for content locking, so creating a proper high-converting landing page for paid traffic will be a new skill for me. I’ll need to look into templates, page builders, or even just start with a basic custom HTML page to keep things light and fast.
Update – Day 3 (14/10/13):
After seeing these results, I’ve decided to pause the campaign for now until I have Prosper202 tracking in place. Running blind with PPC is a quick way to waste money, and I want to make sure my next run is as data-driven as possible.
Alongside this, I’m also considering launching an adult dating offer just to test a different niche with the same traffic source.
Next Steps:
Final Thoughts for Now:
I’m treating this as a learning experience. Whether I get conversions or not on this first try isn’t the main focus – the goal is to figure out how to make 7Search traffic work and understand the kind of setup needed for success.
I’ll keep updating this thread as I go along. Hopefully, others who are curious about running on smaller PPC platforms can learn from my tests, and maybe I can pick up more tips from the experienced affiliates here.
Stay tuned – the journey’s just getting started.

- Build a simple but effective landing page for the cloud backup offer.
- Relaunch the 7Search campaign with tracking and see which keywords actually convert.
- Test an adult dating campaign for comparison.
