Hey everyone!

Starting this thread feels long overdue for me. For a while now, I’ve wanted to document a journey—not just for the numbers, but to share the emotional ups and downs of building something from scratch. To be honest, I’ve had my fair share of doubts: “Is my English good enough?”, “Will people judge?”, “Will anyone even care about my progress?” But today, I’m putting all that aside and just diving in.

Why now?

Because I’m finally ready to face the challenge head-on. I’m not trying to impress anyone—I just want to prove to myself (and maybe inspire a few people along the way) that consistent effort can move mountains. I know I'm not alone in this grind, and if my journey resonates with even one person out there, it's worth it.

The Challenge

So here’s what I’m setting out to do:

Goal:
$600/month profit in 90 days
$1,500/month profit within 180 days

No hype, no six-figure dreams (for now). Just a grounded, realistic goal I can chip away at every day.

Why I Believe I Can Do It

A bit about me—I’m no stranger to challenges. When I was younger, I poured countless hours into competitive gaming—titles like Starcraft: Brood War and Counter-Strike 1.6. At 16, I was ranked among the top 5 players in Canada and even represented my country in international tournaments.

That obsessive determination I had in gaming? I’m bringing it with me into affiliate marketing.

Back in 2017, I even set up a small affiliate site in Thailand on a whim (while slightly buzzed with a friend). Within 5 days of launching, I made my first sale. It wasn’t massive money—but it was proof that it works. That sale lit a fire in me, even though I lost the challenge with my friend by a landslide

Current Progress

I’ve already bought my domain and have the main structure of the site built. I’m still refining it and getting content lined up. I’ll be using Amazon's affiliate program to start, but I might explore other monetization models along the way.

My main focus areas will be:

  • SEO-optimized content
  • Product reviews with value
  • Steady publishing schedule
  • Basic on-page SEO (I’m keeping it lean and efficient)
  • Potential link-building later down the line

I’m not going to overcomplicate things with fancy tools or automation right now—this is all about grit and consistency.

What’s Next?

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be posting updates here regularly. I’ll share wins, mistakes, data (for the stats lovers), and even my personal struggles—because let’s face it, this journey is about more than just numbers.

Also, if you're interested in the behind-the-scenes of my life—things like fitness, mindset, Muay Thai, etc.—I’ll tag those posts as spoiler updates so you can skip or dive in depending on your interests.

Massive respect to some of the people on this forum who’ve inspired me to finally take action. You know who you are.

Final Thoughts

I’m not here to pretend I have all the answers. But I do believe in showing up every day, learning from failures, and building something real—one piece at a time.

If you’ve ever doubted yourself, felt stuck, or just needed someone to say “you got this,” then let’s walk this road together. Drop your thoughts, experiences, or just say hi—I’d love to connect with others on similar journeys.

Let the grind begin.
