Hey everyone,

After months of lurking, reading, and testing on the sidelines, I’ve decided to officially document my journey toward earning $200 per day through affiliate marketing. The ultimate goal? To replace my full-time job with a scalable online income source.

I’m not expecting this to be easy, but I am fully committed to making it work — and I know the best way to stay on track is to be transparent, document progress, and learn from the feedback of others who’ve already walked the path.

My Milestones

I’ve broken my larger income goal into smaller, more realistic milestones to keep things measurable:

  • Get my first conversion – Target: September
  • Earn $50/day consistently
  • Reach $100/day – Target: October
  • Hit $200/day – Target: November

Everything is geared toward steady, smart growth. If I can hit these milestones, I’ll be in a great position to step away from my 9-to-5 by the end of the year.

Tools and Setup

Here’s the current setup I’m working with:

  • VPS: Linode – running my tracker and hosting landers
  • Spy Tool: Adplexity – my window into what’s working in the wild
  • Tracker: Voluum – reliable and simple to integrate with native platforms
  • Training Course: CPA Evolution 3.0 – helpful for structuring my process and learning optimization techniques

Past Experience & Lessons Learned

I started a little over a month ago and initially went the Facebook route. While the potential there is massive, I quickly realized how limiting the platform can be when it comes to affiliate marketing — strict ad policies, niche restrictions, and minimal use of spy tools made it tough to scale or even test efficiently.

That experience pushed me to pivot into native ads, which I’ve found to be far more open in terms of allowed verticals and creative freedom.

My first native campaign was launched on Outbrain, promoting a sweepstakes offer. It flopped pretty hard — poor CTR, weak engagement, and not a single conversion. At the time, I didn’t have access to a solid spy tool, so I was working in the dark.

Current Status

After subscribing to Adplexity, I took a deeper dive into Nutra (health and supplement offers) and saw a lot of promising campaigns targeting Mexico. I found a Nutra offer with decent payout and regional appeal, scraped some landers and creatives, made key edits, and launched my next campaign on Evadav.

The good news? The ads and landers are performing well from an engagement standpoint. I’ve gotten decent impressions and click-throughs — over 2,000 impressions and healthy activity on the offer page.

The bad news? Still no conversions.

Next Steps & Considerations

Now I’m at a fork in the road. I’m considering a few possible next moves:

  • Switch the offer: Maybe the product just doesn’t convert well, despite solid traffic.
  • Try a new traffic source: From my Adplexity research, it looks like platforms like MGID or AdsKeeper have better traction for this kind of Nutra offer.
  • Test a new vertical: I’ve also seen success stories in finance, mobile utilities, and even adult verticals on Evadav — perhaps it’s time to experiment.

At this point, I’m leaning toward testing the same offer on MGID, given the data I’ve seen. I’ll continue updating this thread as I gather more insights and make key decisions.

Thanks for following along. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, feel free to chime in. I’m here to learn, test, and grow — and your input is always welcome.
