Hey everyone,
This is my official entry into the Follow Along contest, and I’m excited to share my progress with you. For this campaign, I’ll be combining TrafficStars as my traffic source and ClickDealer as my affiliate network. It’s my first time running this specific setup, so I’ll be documenting every step — from launch to optimization — to see how far I can push it.
Originally, I was considering running push traffic, but after looking closely at the offer I plan to promote, I believe it will perform better with banners. The offer’s angle and creatives just seem to align better with banner placements, especially in the GEOs I’ll be targeting.
Here’s my initial setup for the campaign:
The payout is relatively high for an SOI offer, which makes this quite interesting. If I can get a decent conversion rate, the profit potential is significant.
I’m starting with a low CPC bid of $0.01. The goal at this stage isn’t to maximize traffic but to collect data. Once I have enough impressions and clicks to identify patterns, I’ll adjust the bid upward for better placement and higher-quality traffic.
The advertiser provided me with a prelander that’s already been tested in other campaigns. I’ll be running this one alongside a custom prelander that was created specifically for my campaign.
The idea is simple:
By running both simultaneously, I’ll see which one has a higher CTR and conversion rate, and then funnel all my traffic to the winner.
I’ve already submitted my campaign for approval, and once it’s live, I’ll start gathering data on impressions, clicks, CTR, and conversions. My first goal is to achieve a breakeven point quickly by identifying winning combinations of banners, placements, and prelanders.
From there, I’ll optimize aggressively:
While this is part of a contest, my personal aim goes beyond just submitting an entry — I want to walk away with a campaign that can scale profitably. If I can hit even 2–3 conversions per day at the current payout with a positive ROI, that’s a strong foundation for scaling into higher volumes.
Once I have my first batch of data, I’ll be back here with updates on exactly how the campaign is performing — including spend, CTR, conversions, and ROI. The contest adds a little extra motivation to push harder, but regardless of the outcome, the real prize for me will be learning more about how TrafficStars banners perform with ClickDealer’s offers in Tier 1 GEOs.
This is going to be an interesting test, and I’m looking forward to seeing how far I can take it. Stay tuned for my first update once the campaign goes live.

Why I Chose This Setup
Originally, I was considering running push traffic, but after looking closely at the offer I plan to promote, I believe it will perform better with banners. The offer’s angle and creatives just seem to align better with banner placements, especially in the GEOs I’ll be targeting.
Campaign Details
Here’s my initial setup for the campaign:
- Traffic Source: TrafficStars (Banners)
- Affiliate Network: ClickDealer
- GEOs: Tier 1 countries
- Tracker: Bemob
- Offer Type: SOI (Single Opt-In)
- Payout: $9.20 per conversion
The payout is relatively high for an SOI offer, which makes this quite interesting. If I can get a decent conversion rate, the profit potential is significant.
Starting Bids & Testing Approach
I’m starting with a low CPC bid of $0.01. The goal at this stage isn’t to maximize traffic but to collect data. Once I have enough impressions and clicks to identify patterns, I’ll adjust the bid upward for better placement and higher-quality traffic.
Prelanders – Testing Two Approaches
The advertiser provided me with a prelander that’s already been tested in other campaigns. I’ll be running this one alongside a custom prelander that was created specifically for my campaign.
The idea is simple:
- Prelander A: Provided by the advertiser — already proven, but may not be perfectly tailored to my audience.
- Prelander B: Custom-built — designed to match the specific creative style and messaging I believe will resonate with the Tier 1 audience.
By running both simultaneously, I’ll see which one has a higher CTR and conversion rate, and then funnel all my traffic to the winner.
Campaign Launch & Expectations
I’ve already submitted my campaign for approval, and once it’s live, I’ll start gathering data on impressions, clicks, CTR, and conversions. My first goal is to achieve a breakeven point quickly by identifying winning combinations of banners, placements, and prelanders.
From there, I’ll optimize aggressively:
- Pausing underperforming placements
- Testing new banner variations
- Tweaking headlines and calls-to-action on the prelanders
- Adjusting bids to secure better ad positions without overspending
