Hey Affiliate Fix community,


In case you haven’t stumbled across my short intro before (and given how fast new threads pop up here, I wouldn’t be surprised), let me reintroduce myself.


I’m not exactly new to affiliate marketing—and I’m not exactly a stranger to this forum either. For the past three years, I’ve been more of a quiet observer, lurking in the background, reading insights, watching trends, and occasionally dropping in. My affiliate journey started in mobile display, then evolved into pops (both mobile and desktop), and eventually into Facebook ads—the white-hat side of things. Along the way, I had the privilege of speaking and MC-ing at Affiliate World Asia in both 2016 and 2017, and even sitting on a 2018 panel discussing the future of mobile marketing.


Now, I’m back with something new—not just to share, but also to build alongside you in this Follow Along.


The Idea​


I’m creating a carefully curated, daily affiliate marketing newsletter. The vision? Short, relevant, and impactful—something you can read in under five minutes and still walk away with actionable insights. Each issue covers a mix of:


  • Affiliate industry news
  • Technology updates
  • Practical strategies you can implement
  • Light commentary to make it enjoyable

The goal is to make this the kind of newsletter you look forward to opening each morning—not another info dump.

The Inspiration​


The concept isn’t entirely new—there are already great business newsletters that blend entertainment and education well. One of my favorites is Morning Brew. They have mastered the balance between informative content and a casual, witty tone. I thought: Why not create something like that, but tailor it specifically for affiliate marketers?


After all, blogs have become a bit of a relic from the 2000s. The affiliate industry moves too fast for weekly posts to stay fresh. A daily bite-sized newsletter feels more aligned with the speed of our world.

Early Feedback​


I’ve quietly shared test editions with a small group of affiliates—people who either know me personally or are connected through mutual contacts. The reception has been very positive so far. They like that it’s quick to read, but still delivers value. A few even said it’s become part of their morning coffee routine, which I consider a huge win.


Of course, that’s a small sample size, and I want real-world, unbiased feedback. That’s where this thread comes in.

This Follow Along​


Over the coming weeks, I’ll be documenting:


  • How I grow the newsletter subscriber base
  • What works (and what flops) in terms of format and content
  • How to balance brevity with value
  • Strategies for keeping readers engaged over the long term
  • Lessons learned from wins and mistakes

I’ll post weekly updates with behind-the-scenes details—open rates, subscriber growth, and any creative experiments I try along the way.
