Hey everyone,
This marks the start of my very first journey here on AffiliateFix, and I’m genuinely excited to share every step with you. My main goal is to use this thread as a personal journal to track my daily progress, document my wins and mistakes, and hopefully create something that others can learn from or find motivation in.
I’ve been accepted into a few CPA networks that I’ll be working with right away: Peerfly, OGads, Adcombo, CPAlead, and Mobidea. These will be my main playgrounds as I experiment, test, and figure out which niches and traffic types work best for me.
Today was a pure setup and learning day. Here’s what I got done:
The real action starts tomorrow:
While I didn’t launch any campaigns today, I feel like I’ve built a solid starting foundation. The technical side is set up, my tracking platform is ready, and I’ve got a clear plan for tomorrow. The focus now is on picking strong offers, designing engaging creatives, and getting my first batch of traffic through the funnel.
If you’ve got tips, advice, or answers to my questions above — feel free to jump in. I’m here to learn, adapt, and most importantly… start stacking results.

Where I’m Starting From
I’ve been accepted into a few CPA networks that I’ll be working with right away: Peerfly, OGads, Adcombo, CPAlead, and Mobidea. These will be my main playgrounds as I experiment, test, and figure out which niches and traffic types work best for me.
Day 1 – Getting the Foundations Right
Today was a pure setup and learning day. Here’s what I got done:
- Learning Mode: I spent several hours reading through case studies, follow-along threads, and beginner guides. Seeing real-world examples from other affiliates is incredibly helpful.
- VPS Setup: Registered a Vultr VPS and connected it to a general domain I already own. This will serve as my base for hosting landing pages and tracking scripts.
- Traffic Source: Signed up with my chosen traffic network (keeping the exact one private for now).
- Tracking: Learned the ins and outs of creating a campaign in Bemob — setting up offers, linking landing pages, and building the funnel structure. This took longer than expected, but now I feel more confident about campaign setup.
Tomorrow’s Plan
The real action starts tomorrow:
- Select Vertical & GEO – Narrow down my target niche and location.
- Pick Offers – Choose which CPA offers to promote based on payout, conversion potential, and market demand.
- Build Creatives & Landers – Create 3–5 ads and 3 landing pages for each offer. I plan to use PureLander for simplicity, especially for mobile-focused designs.
- Launch My First Campaign – Push it live and start collecting data to analyze performance.
Current Questions I’m Exploring
- Popunder Ads: Are they generally more effective for desktop or mobile? My initial thought is to go mobile since the landing pages are simpler to design.
- Budget Requirements: How much should I set aside for testing 3 offers in Tier 1 GEOs? And how would that compare to Tier 2 or Tier 3 markets?
- Mobidea Creative Restrictions: If a network requires using their banners, how can I still add my own landing page when running popunders?
- SSL Certificates: How critical is SSL for a landing page? Will visitors actually get a warning if it’s missing?
Closing Thoughts for Day 1
