Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a big shift in my journey. Initially, my plan was all about popunders. I had set campaigns running, was collecting data, and was determined to make them work.

At the same time, I had been testing native ads on the side for about two weeks—just a small experiment while popunders were my main focus. The idea was simple: popunders would be the main hustle, native ads just a background project.

Well… things took a turn. While popunders were still warming up, native ads started producing results that I just couldn’t ignore. Today, I’ve officially decided to follow the data and put my full attention into native ads. At the time of writing this, I’m looking at a 402% ROI for the day—and I’m honestly ecstatic. I know results can change quickly in this game, but right now, the momentum feels great.

The Numbers

Preparation Day (Testing Phase)

  • Visits: 599
  • Clicks: 144
  • Conversions: 3
  • Revenue: $76
  • Cost: $78
  • Profit: -$2
  • ROI: -2.63%

Yesterday (Slow Day)

  • Visits: 614
  • Clicks: 29
  • Conversions: 0
  • Revenue: $0
  • Cost: $7.30
  • Profit: -$7.30
  • ROI: -100%

Today (Breakthrough)

  • Visits: 43
  • Clicks: 8
  • Conversions: 2
  • Revenue: $51
  • Cost: $13.16
  • Profit: $40.84
  • ROI: 402.07%

Method & Optimization

My funnel is straightforward: Ads → Prelander → Offer Lander.

The difference-maker so far has been optimization:

  1. Ad Creatives – If CTR is low, I cut it.
  2. Website IDs – Low CTR placements are removed fast.

By focusing the budget only on what’s performing, I’m able to scale the winning parts while avoiding wasted spend.

Why Native Ads Are Winning

From what I’ve seen, native ads bring higher-quality clicks than popunders. They blend into the content, so users who click are doing so by choice—not because an ad was forced on them. Even with fewer clicks overall, the intent behind those clicks seems much stronger.

Next Steps

  • Keep removing underperforming creatives and placements.
  • Test new ad angles to find more winners.
  • Analyze device, GEO, and time-of-day performance for scaling.
  • Monitor ROI closely while increasing budget.

Question for the Community

I noticed in Bemob that I have 2 conversions listed under “utmsandbox.” Does anyone know what that means?

I’ll keep updating as I go. The pivot from popunders to native ads wasn’t part of the plan, but affiliate marketing is all about adapting fast and following the money. Let’s see where this goes!
