I’ve decided to document my full journey from starting completely fresh as a mobile CPA affiliate to hitting 5 figures a month. I’m not coming into this as a total beginner to online business – I have experience as a product creator – but this will be my first serious run as an affiliate. My goal here is to keep things transparent, share both wins and mistakes, and hopefully provide value to others who are either starting out or looking to improve.
I’m aiming for $10,000 in monthly revenue from mobile CPA offers, maintaining around 30–50% ROI. That would ideally put me in the $3,000–$5,000 monthly profit range.
Like many of you, I have a full-time job and other commitments, so time is my biggest limitation. I’ll be dedicating 3 hours every single day to this – no excuses.
I’m starting lean, with $250/month for testing offers and about $234/month for tools – total: $484/month.
Here’s how I’m allocating it:
As soon as I find a converting offer, I’ll scale by reinvesting earnings back into campaigns. Eventually, my goal is to reach a budget where I can invest $1,000+ into testing and scaling weekly.

While getting set up, I ran a lot of tests on page load speed and found some simple tweaks that can make a massive difference in performance:
One of my landing pages went from 1.5 seconds load time to under 300ms after these changes. On mobile traffic, that speed can make a big difference in conversion rates.
I know this isn’t going to happen overnight. I’ve read plenty of advice saying you should be ready to invest $2,000+ into testing before expecting consistent profits. I’m realistic about that. The plan is to keep pushing, keep learning, and document everything here – the good and the bad.

First Optimization Breakthrough – Landing Page Speed
While getting set up, I ran a lot of tests on page load speed and found some simple tweaks that can make a massive difference in performance:
- Use a CDN – This alone can cut load times by up to 50%.
- Compress images – Even already optimized images can often be reduced by 40–70% without noticeable quality loss.
- Move JavaScript to the bottom of the page – Allows the page content to load before scripts run.
- Analyze waterfall charts in Pingdom/WebPageTest – Identify slow-loading scripts, fonts, or external resources and replace or remove them.
