Hey everyone,
I’ve decided to start this follow along to document my latest campaign test and share the results as they come in. I’ll be launching this campaign on Sunday, and I want to keep things transparent from the start so others can learn from my approach — and maybe you can point out what I might be missing before I burn through my budget.
My plan is to split the initial budget evenly across the three traffic networks and monitor performance closely. Each network will start with the same setup — the same offer, the same landers, and the same targeting — so that I can compare them on a level playing field.
The goal is to figure out which source gives me the best balance of conversions and cost per click. Once I identify a winner, I’ll funnel more budget into that network and scale it up.
If a traffic source shows no conversions or has very low click numbers after initial testing, I won’t hesitate to cut it off. The idea is to avoid wasting money and to focus on the channel that shows the most promise.
I chose Propeller Ads, PopCash, and PopAds because they’re affordable, have high volume in the GEO I’m targeting, and are relatively easy to set up. While they’re not always known for the highest-quality traffic, they can still produce results with the right offer and targeting — especially in incentive niches like gift cards.
Instead of direct linking, I’ll be using four different landing pages to pre-sell the offer and encourage clicks. These will vary in design, copy, and CTA placement to see which style resonates best with Australian users. My hope is that at least one of these landers will stand out and give me a strong CTR boost.
Given the payout of $2.00 and my daily revenue target of $15, I’m looking at about 8 conversions per day to hit my goal. It’s modest, but it’s a realistic starting point for testing. Once I find a working combination, I can scale to higher budgets and potentially aim for $50/day or more.
I’ll update this thread regularly with performance stats, adjustments, and lessons learned — whether I hit my target or crash and burn.
If you’ve run similar pop traffic campaigns for gift card offers, I’d love to hear your thoughts on what worked for you — especially in terms of GEO targeting or lander style.
Here’s to finding a winner among the three!

Strategy
My plan is to split the initial budget evenly across the three traffic networks and monitor performance closely. Each network will start with the same setup — the same offer, the same landers, and the same targeting — so that I can compare them on a level playing field.

Why These Traffic Sources?
I chose Propeller Ads, PopCash, and PopAds because they’re affordable, have high volume in the GEO I’m targeting, and are relatively easy to set up. While they’re not always known for the highest-quality traffic, they can still produce results with the right offer and targeting — especially in incentive niches like gift cards.
The Role of Landing Pages
Instead of direct linking, I’ll be using four different landing pages to pre-sell the offer and encourage clicks. These will vary in design, copy, and CTA placement to see which style resonates best with Australian users. My hope is that at least one of these landers will stand out and give me a strong CTR boost.
Expectations
Given the payout of $2.00 and my daily revenue target of $15, I’m looking at about 8 conversions per day to hit my goal. It’s modest, but it’s a realistic starting point for testing. Once I find a working combination, I can scale to higher budgets and potentially aim for $50/day or more.
Next Steps Before Launch
- Final review of the 4 landing pages to ensure fast load times.
- Double-check tracking setup in Thrive.
- Set up identical campaigns across the three networks for a fair test.
- Prepare to monitor stats daily and cut underperformers quickly.
