In affiliate marketing, static image ads and display ads differ primarily in format and function. Static image ads are simple, fixed graphics—usually JPEG or PNG—with no animation or interactive elements. They convey a single message and are easy to create, making them cost-effective for beginners. In contrast, display ads encompass a broader range, including static images, animated banners, rich media, and interactive content. Display ads often appear on websites through ad networks like Google Display Network, allowing more precise targeting and dynamic engagement. While static image ads can be part of display advertising, display ads as a whole offer greater flexibility, visibility, and tracking capabilities. Choosing between them depends on campaign goals, budget, and the need for user interaction or visual appeal
